THE DIFFICULT AIRWAY APP™ NOW AVAILABLE FOR ANDROID

Airway Management Education Center is pleased to announce the release of The Difficult Airway App™ for the Android platform.  This release coincides with an update to version 3.1 for iPhone.

The Difficult Airway App™ is an essential tool for clinicians who manage emergency airways in the Emergency Department, ICU, in-patient unit or EMS environments.  This app guides users quickly and easily through key algorithms and predictors of a difficult airway.  It also features a drug dosing calculator – guiding the selection of RSI drugs and automatically adjusting doses for body habitus and qualitative blood pressure.  Additionally, the app features pediatric RSI dosing announce the release of The Difficult Airway App™ for the Android platform.  This release coincides with an update to version 3.1 for iPhone.    and equipment selection using the Broselow-Luten color system or child’s estimated weight.

The eagerly-awaited Android app makes this essential tool available to clinicians regardless of their device type. The concurrent update to version 3.1 incorporates changes in the Adult Patient RSI Calculator, as well as minor changes in the SCh Hyperkalemia, Tips & Pearls, Adult 7Ps, Pediatrics 7Ps and Additional Resources sections.  For full details on what is new in the update, see the app description in the Google Play or Apple App stores.
