Earn That Swagger: Employing Best (Evidence-Based) Practices in Difficult & Failed Airway Management
October 30, 2021 1:00 pm
This half-day intensive program in difficult and failed airway management was designed by senior faculty of The Difficult Airway Course: EMS™ for advanced providers at AMTC. The program starts with a brief research & best practices update and then addresses complex airway cases. Most of the class is dedicated to advanced airway skills labs and simulation, where attendees will engage with the pediatric airway, airway management of the obese patient, the surgical airway, the SALAD technique, and delayed sequence intubation. This course, which is hosted by the ASTNA, is ideal for critical care providers who want to ensure they are employing best (evidence-based) practices. This event is a pre-conference workshop held prior to the Air Medical Transport Conference. Register today as space is limited!
