We understand that plans can change for many reasons, resulting in the need to change your registration. To ensure fairness and transparency, we’ve developed Policies that are as accommodating as possible. If you need to make changes to your registration, you may cancel or transfer your registration as outlined below.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Registrant

The following fee schedule applies to all cancellations, regardless of the reason for cancellation:

  • Cancellations requested 14 days or more prior to the course start date
    Registrants will receive a 90% refund (tuition paid – 10% Administrative Fee).
  • Cancellations requested 2 – 14 days prior to the course start date
    Registrants will receive a 50% refund (tuition paid – 50% Administrative Fee).
  • Cancellations requested within 2 days of the course start date
    No refunds
    will be issued.
  • No-Show
    No refund
    will be issued for registrants who do not attend the course and fail to make prior arrangements.

 

All Cancellations Requests Must be Made in Writing.
Cancellation requests must be made by email to registrations@theairwaysite.com. While you may contact us by phone, the effective date of your request will be based on the email timestamp.

 

Please Note: Airway Management Education Center (AMEC) does not waive the fees outlined above due to natural disasters, weather-related problems, travel-related delays, government shut-downs or similar events beyond our control. Registrants affected by this type of situation are encouraged to transfer their registration to a future course (see our Transfer Policy).

Cancellation by Airway Management Education Center

In the unlikely event that a Course must be cancelled by Airway Management Education Center (for example due to safety concerns, insufficient enrollment, or venue issues) all registrants will be offered the following options:

  • A 100% refund of tuition paid
  • Transfer registration to a future course at no charge.

Airway Management Education Center is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the participant (such as travel, accommodations, or other incidental expenses).

 

Transfer Policy

The following terms apply for all registration transfer requests:

  • Transfers requested 7 days or more prior to the course start date
    Transfer requests made more than 7 days prior to the course start date receive a full (100%) tuition credit and are not charged an Administrative Fee.
  • Transfers requested within 7 days of the course start date
    Transfer requests received within 7 days of the course start date receive a full (100%) tuition credit and will be charged a $200 Administrative Fee.

Transfer Credit Expiration

  • Registrants who request a transfer receive a full (100%) tuition credit that can be used for any AMEC National Course until December 31 of the calendar year following the transfer request.  (Example: Credit resulting from a transfer requested in June 2026 remains valid for courses scheduled through December 31, 2027)

Subsequent Cancellation of Transferred Registration
If a transferred registration is later cancelled, registrants will receive a 50% refund (tuition paid – 50% Administrative Fee)

General Course Policies & Notices

Sold Out Courses

Airway Management Education Center sets a maximum course capacity to maintain ideal Faculty : Student ratios and ensure each participant has ample time for the hands-on practice portion of The Difficult Airway Course. If the course you wish to attend is sold out, please contact our Registration Office at registrations@theairwaysite.com or 866-924-7929 with your name, email address and phone number to be added to the course wait list. You will be notified if a spot becomes available.

 

Hotel Reservations

We have negotiated discounted, reserved blocks of rooms at the host hotel for each of our courses. Due to early start times, we recommend attendees stay at the host hotel. Please refer to the information provided on the registration page for your specific course or the Dashboard of your theairwaysite.com account for specific rate and deadline information and for the link to make your reservation.

 

Airway Management Education Center does not control hotel availability and cannot provide any information about or make changes to your hotel reservation. Attendees must contact the host hotel directly for any questions or changes to their hotel reservation.

 

Registration Confirmation and Course Communication

All registrants will receive written confirmation of their registration via email once tuition is paid in full. If you have not received a course confirmation email within 24 hours, please check your spam/junk folder, and be sure that info@theairwaysite.com is added as an approved sender in your email settings.

 

You can contact our Registration Office at registrations@theairwaysite.com or 866-924-7929 to confirm registration or request a copy of your confirmation.

 

Course Materials Availability and Recording

Airway Management Education Center retains copyright for all presentations and course materials (unless otherwise noted) and does not provide copies of these materials to attendees.

 

Any materials included for your course (textbook, Airway Card, etc.) will be provided during course check-in on the first day of your course.

 

Electronic recording (audio or video) of the full course is not allowed. Attendees may record small sections of the course for personal reference.

 

Virtual / On-Line Courses

Cancellation Policy for Airway Manager: Emergency

Subscriptions may be cancelled within 30 days of purchase. Refunds will be based on CME credits earned.

 

You will continue to have access to your transcript under My Credits Earned on Airway Manager.

Cancellation Policy for The Difficult Airway Course: Virtual

Subscriptions may be cancelled within 30 days of purchase, provided you have not completed the course and earned your Course Certificate (CME/CE/CEH credits).

 

Partial credit is not awarded for this course.
