John C. Sakles, MD Promoted to Professor of Emergency Medicine

John C. Sakles, MD, a long-standing faculty member of The Difficult Airway Course: Emergency,  has been promoted to Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Arizona.

In a July 5, 2009 note to his colleagues at The Difficult Airway Course, the newly appointed Professor announced his promotion and expressed his gratitude for the "friendship, collegiality, and support" he received through his many years of involvement with The Difficult Airway Course.  "It is truly an honor to be part of such a distinguished and illustrious group of physicians and airway experts," Professor Sakles added.

Drs. Walls, Murphy and Luten joined the entire faculty in congratulating Dr. Sakles on his "stellar and richly deserved achievement."  "The honor is ours," added Dr. Walls, expressing the faculty's appreciation for all that Dr. Sakles contributes to The Difficult Airway Course.
